limbu


Limbu language could be a member of Tibeto-Burman family. Limbu language has four main dialects: Panthere, Phedape, Tamarkhole and Chhathare. Limbu language has nine vowels sound, and twenty five consonants. Promonolisation, 3 numbers (singular, dual, and plural) with inclusive  and exclusive in twin and plural numbers in person, and stop consonant ar a number of the characteristics of Limbu language.

Limbu Tribe and Clans Belong to the Kirati Nation:

 The word limbu means that associate archer, or bearer of bow and arrows. Limbus have variety of their own rituals. They worship by means that of blood sacrifice. They believe that lineage divinities don't seem to be transmitted patrilineally. Rather, a girl inherits her mother's gods and once she marries and lives together with her husband, she brings together with her the deities which will then be recognized because the gods of the menage.
